Death
Sentenced Republic
I dedicated this poem to my friend Licha Ortiz,
her father ( Fernando Ortiz)
was killed, tortured and disappear
for more than 35 years by DINA-CNI, secret /police in Chile by Pinochet and
Manuel Contreras
Agusti Centellas; black & white images
of resistance
and fighting in the streets of Spain 1937.
Remain to bear
witness of that bloody combat
Broken horses
of Guernica by Pablo
Bullets in
verses by Cesar Vallejo
Blood of
Federico and Miguel Hernandez
Onions burning
with animal heads
Neighing the
defeat or victory.
Barricades of
courage 1937 or 1973.
Like now in
Australia Asylum seekers are detained
at Manus Island
& Adriana
Rivas a Former Secret police Agent
and torturer,
& political
interrogator who sentenced
prisoners to
death.She lives in Sydney
as a citizen
walking and shopping everyday
But she is a
criminal of Pinochet’s regimen.
Our wounds are
reopening
Our wings of
eternity have a name: dignity and courage
Our flight is
timeless.
Blossoms will
come to our lives
And justice
will be a place to remember
all who died
for us.
Adriana Rivas former member of the Chilean secret police and torturer (DINA-CNI) now lives in Australia as a normal citizen.

Healthy to remember, healthy to let peaple know especially nowadays when our "democraties" seem threatened ...
