okay I'm gonna come right out and say the brutal fact ---this isn't a haiku this is a two line epigram of the quip style with a challenging line break just one note short of tweed it itches places ought to glidehaiku don't have titles (neither do epigrams)haiku involve the natural world haiku evoke a moment (the here-and-now)actually there are a lot of other things haiku don't do, but I'm just listing the relevant one here if you don't want nature, write senryu (haiku about people more or less, generally a little dark)in closing I confess having been guilt of every single sin here mentioned, soI'd like to think yr in good company -- but that's a matter of opinion pointers --
I had no idea you wrote this publically, I thought it was just a private message Kit! Yes. I am no good at Haiku. Got it.
that was not what I was saying at all, Kerri, and I am sorry if you got that impression, but probably the private discussion is a better idea I will just say though that I think epigrams and senryu are every bit as important and valid and challenging as haiku
I am so glad we sorted this out! xx
