Feet will be feet
in all these spaces
we call home,
imagine us in the
wooden hand made house
folded in by trees
the way our socks
continue to polish the
splitered boards
and then among aluminium
the sprung central
concrete floored abode
sliding across vast panes of
surfaces one reflective
against our soles
these human spaces don’t define us
we are the footfalls
they are just boundaries.
