Rob Schackne #383 - "Just a moment"

Just a moment
(she said) to study
using the simple past

when were we there
future accidental
I'll make you happy

the present perfect
I've held you tight
now the perfect past
my red dictionary

twelve years ago
naked on the bed

cross-leggèd summer
looked up a word
we had pleased

  1. I love the line ' cross -legged summer' in particular. In general I love this poem.
