Julie McElhone #14 Q wanting A

What would it cost
For our actors
In the public sphere
To understand the etymology
Of words, or even
For people on TV
To know the Historical(hysterical?)
Meanings
Of the words they use
To defend
Their own certainties. What
Price?

  1. I'm still spewing about this Q&A....just made us yell at the television last night, (and at Tony Jones). I can't write, I'm still spitting.... but I agree; well put!

  2. I know, Efi. It feels quite flip to not have addressed Tarang Chawler's story about his sister, Nikita's murder by her husband. It needs a more delicate hand than mine to write about THAT moment.

  3. Perhaps, those issues can't be addressed in writing to a daily schedule?

    1. I'm so glad you brought it into the blog, Julie. I agree, I think it's difficult to sustain such a discussion in this daily format, but in other ways, particularly over time, the diversity of voices here shall end up addressing the issues raised by Q&A last night. And I hope we do it hysterically;)
