Great juxtapositions! Some friends from Armagh gave me a tour of Belfast a few years ago and it was fascinating to see the mix of old and new and all the physical evidence of the troubles and religious/cultural divisions.
Thank you Nathanael and Sarah. (I just updated to the justified block I like.) I was pleasantly surprised at how well (I thought) the mix worked. Issue of course is the extent of loss of architectural heritage - where will it stop. I'm noticing also the surrounding hills are being blocked out by some new buildings which is a crying shame - such a feature of Belfast.
