Rob Harle #24 Morning Tea With Kit & Carol

Rob Harle #24 Morning Tea With Kit & Carol

Keeping the home fires burning
inserting logs too big to burn
taking a guided tour of the estate.

Kookaburras laughing with us,
explication of Carol’s imminent studio?
little birds darting carelessly and carefree
enjoying briefly the winter sun,
nosing around in the “toxic” studio.

Overhead the mezzanine library
full to shelf-ends, high-up too!

Markwell a little North of Bulahdelah
away from the fast-lane of Macau,
regeneration of forest
kindling new poems and dreams
writing the bush in peace and solitude,
exchange of books – poetry of course!
links to like minded souls formed,
leaving for the fast-lane and home.

NB: This is an acrostic poem, write down the first letter of the first word of each line to reveal the secret.

  3. Ha! Ha! so I'm dyslexic, but I fixed it, don't want people getting lost :-)
