Robert Verdon, #218, instant

anthem of upheaving
acacias thrill perceptibly
a shroud drapes the withered land
an instant of understanding
and eternal dying thought

  1. A most lovely poem, Robbie, a moment perfectly captured by your very dab hand -- but here in Shanghai where our cicadas are going nuts, I am moved to paraphrase...

    anthem of upheaving
    cicadas thrill perceptibly
a glee drapes the withered land
    an instant of understanding
    and eternal dying thought
