all at peace           bliss and         resilient calm

or is quietude sought to sing
with wind in the grasses?

when creeks are gouged, dead platypus everywhere,
when sand dunes are killed,  decks plonked with cement

everywhere         the little goats banished from Wattegoes'
                              who belongs?

the cloaked woman is sung into Parliament
unexpected tears            shed silently

                                everywhere.
