Me too Eva, even after all this time. A similar scene was repeated inside the church amongst all the Catholic iconography.
There are things in this world that are just beyond comprehension.
I think the same Eva. There have been times when I photographed scenes similar to this; that I have felt that what I am photographing is bigger than me and bigger than the people I am documenting. As undefined as that sounds.
We are part of the machinery of the universe. Only God knows how it works...

How visceral and confronting. There is no 'misreading' this one - thank you Jack . It is so important you were there to see and show what happened.
I agree Lucy. Photographs similar to these tend to take on a new role as historical documents.
