see through to the moment

no door

but the wall shows through

snipers on either roof

how have we survived them?

sometimes the moment shows us up

then creep back to shadows

time is arrested

in this frame, the single shot

is it the past

or the future we see?

colour of the skin

comes through the wall

only ever a glimpse

all blasted to truth

like this or another way?

all creep back to shadows

let me express this in other worlds

sometimes they can see right through you

there must be a source of light

but now we must scurry
