Kerri Shying R # 236 - Samsung Note

Samsung Note

he reached across he put his phone  in the space
between my breasts  where    it quickly cooled

my skin       the very summer of the room
sang out to all the small vibrations  coming from

that dull black case   the shiver of the silver worn
from thumbs from pants from careless hurling down

in car central consoles    thrummed              back to me
congested  clotted every minute passing   I served

as tabletop   the vanity  while            he stood tightened
the belt   inserted keys  the wriggle of the tie

stooped to kiss  slid us both     warm      into
the pocket of his suit      goodbye
