I get a sudden glimpse

of the voodoo fascination

with hair like

keratin ground

from rhino horn and

pangolin scales

this is witchery it's only hair

it can't cure cancer

or give you a rise

but when I see

the power of an art performance

where just the sight of human hair

being woven into a cloth

makes me want to vomit
