downpour
lunch with friends
outside
sweltering heat
then lightning
thunder
and the downpour
the clouds groaned
screamed and let forth
the earth was saturated
we were saturated
the car race suspended
for the duration
floods
it felt so good
slow taxi ride
home
with poor vision
blurred
but exciting
rain pushing the heat away
at least
for a day
