Red Cone-Day 83- Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday

so quiet
this Easter Sunday
even the birds are whispering
small birds the size of an egg cup hop about in the garden
sometimes they jump at the glass door to catch a bug
there is a gentle breeze
trees swing softly
much green to be seen
after a brief shower
now to relax or perhaps even to fall asleep
and dream
to dream of softness and pleasure
my tiny world in the country
away from horror
so fortunate to have tomorrow
with all I need
unlike the have nots
and those with greed
and now right now
the honey eater is exploring the large red flower
and here the world feels safe this hour
