Susan Hawthorne #78 on building a library from cast offs

there are uprights and joiners
brackets and shelves
when in equilibrium
they are home to books

but chaos is looming
when shelves outnumber
brackets by twenty to one
no where for them to perch

finding the joiners
the right ones for the uprights
is less difficult but the numbers
are getting out of control

as it stands the books
would be a floating library
with unsuspended shelves
a Borghesian nightmare
