of the Australian horse,
blew his brains out yesterday afternoon,
at the rear of Parliament House.

The body of Henry Baker,
cordial maker,
was found in his employer's stable this morning
suspended by the neck from a rafter.
Deceased had used a halter to end his life.

A middle-aged woman, named Mildred Gleeson,
suicided at Guildford Police Court (West Australia)
while awaiting trial for bigamy,
by taking poison.
A loaded revolver was also found in her pocket.
