A small stone
doesn’t move unless moved
with all things around it
is lifted by a great swell of foam and salt
to be returned to the shore
smoother, further south
when the moon’s pull
relaxes.
Just beautiful

DeleteOh I love that, and the shape of the poem, and the art work.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sarah. I made the monoprint on a gelatine plate (or in my case an agar plate!)
