Moyra Donaldson - Everything Stopped #1

Stopped still as stone
in the long grass,
the fox watches us
watching him.
His coat
is dark with rain.

We are the first
to look away
and when we turn back
he's gone
and the sky goes on
lowering.

  3. So beautifully understated, Moyra. You've caught that tautness of wild energy in being seen by the other! And then you escape :)
