they set up a pop up bible thing
the sign said
good news from God
across the road
post office bells rang out at eleven
a march of the First Nation
flags
the yellow sun in front of red and black
they chanted something
I could not hear
bells kept ringing
police cars blocked the road for the march
the city connector bus is halted
at the intersection
it becomes unconnected
the driver is perplexed
the bus is blocking
the pedestrian crossing
confusion
things are out of order
creating empathy for the First Nation
