Rob Schackne #205 - "She taught me gentle"

"She taught me gentle"

She taught me gentle
I'm forever grateful
for how she laughed
when I said I love you
and how I remember
whenever I am brutal
her big blonde body
riding high above me
her dear nordic face
smiling while I came.

  1. A curious aside: this little poem (of no consequence to anyone but myself and perhaps the Pia I remember of 45 years ago), after I first posted it last night, stirred the termites of self-censorship. I deleted the poem. God knows what was on my mind. But I have swept the ants away and I am re-posting it because, clearly, my Muse is not as finicky as I am. Nor, I'm sure, are the writers here.
