Kerri Shying R # 483 everyone of us shadowing the summer

I took this misery    outside   a walk will do you good
it dragged feet   not wanting    to have blue sky
the flowers  in their pots     for competition
on this cold day    knocked on every door
the Allen key of pain twisted here and there

everyone of us   shadowing the summer

version of ourselves   letting clothes fall
where they may   sloth     the piled-up leaves
unraked     I took  this misery  into the clean
I said    tell it to the cauliflower    your moans
unheard  by her white veins    until you’re done
