practices in self care...
gather yourself up like wild flowers
pluck out the weeds
honour the beauty within
stem by stem
feel the sting of the thistle
breathe -
soon the pain will pass
rub the sore area
then kiss it better
remembering
the impermanence of all things
breathe-
much like these flowers
wilting is a part of life
as the petals fall -
gather them up,
smell their perfume
breathe -
next time when walking
pick a new bunch of wild flowers
and breathe.
