This is great, Lizz. (I can imagine the Galician prince being told 'Sorry, but that's cheating, it's against the rules, you're supposed to have your hand attached to your wrist in order for it to be defined as a 'touch', so you're disqualified, you dago pillock.')
Thanks again for the great comments. I've added a couple of official Red Hands for interest. It's also used in Irish heraldry and has associations with certain families and also mythical figures - I never knew any of this growing up - I have a whole lot more reading to do!
