The Word Is Moist
A big moist kiss
a moist camp ground
in a big moist forest
like a moist honey cake
so fine and swollen
when you come with me
after we moistly look
at a still moist night
by the moon and us
moist and delicious
in a big moist forest
like a moist honey cake
so fine and swollen
when you come with me
after we moistly look
at a still moist night
by the moon and us
moist and delicious
on a bike
ReplyDeletePerfectly good and juicy word. There are times when only "moist" will do. I mean humid and damp have their moments, but don't quite cut it when you need the "m" word, Rob.
ReplyDeletemoist is noice!
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteLOL. It's a dandy word... :)
ReplyDeleteHey Rob, this is my second message re moist today. Would you believe...I just realized that the poem I posted this very morning includes the word "moist" It's actually a very old poem of mine, one of the few oldies which I haul out now and then, making sure they're still ok and relevant. What a synchronicity! I speak of the "warm, moist breath of foxes"
ReplyDeleteI know. Yours is a lovely poem. The foxes go to town.
DeleteNice work! I don't have a problem with moist - gusset on the other hand... I can hardly bear to type it!
