Sarah St Vincent Welch #221 loop

in the metal frame a snow gum
the limestone plain's aqua sky
beside the window an abstract
its surface calls, how light falls
pale colour glows
drawing in the room
sliding door opens
the steps enter
the asphalt road
the path round the corner
cracked ground
the snow gums white bark
framed by metal and aqua sky

  4. abstraction talk :) I feel a Silk on the Road poem brewing, but it might take awhile.
