Sarah St Vincent Welch #220 have you noticed

have you noticed
the whirlpool
how the stars align
the planets?
how all else seems a little, out?

we looked at Saturn tonight
clear, bright, dependable Venus
on our horizon
dipping below

fleeting Mercury
Saturn and Jupiter, the Moon
what we can see with our naked eyes
is it one way for this hemisphere?
(sorry – this is the South)
and another for the other

this is not the poem I was seeking

how I love you

our mother is dying

  5. I don't know. That is what popped out very late at night. Obviously something that is preying on my mind, but in the moment of writing it I was thinking of Mother Earth. All connected. Or this phase of her very long existence. The mother Earth we know now. Thanks all for your kind responses.
