Barbara Temperton #11 - Taxidermy



From the door of his room, the bowl on Dad’s bedside table appears to bloom with fat bananas. Close up, I discover all the fruit has been harvested. What remains is the deliberate arrangement of skin around air.

  1. Amazing. 'Skin around air' is shocking, powerful! The image of fruitfulness/plenty in the altar offerings makes this an even more poignant piece of work.
