if you drink it then

that creamy crescent moon

will bob down and bump

gently on your top lip

if you are being careful not to swallow

but if you gulp

and swallow that little sickle

then you will have to follow it

with the spun fibre of clouds

to catch on the taper

and sheathe the sharp corners

to help it go down
