Robert Verdon, #182, Lost Generation


gobstopper dawn
frost on the lawn
egg on the table
smooth as a fable

ready for work
for dozens of years
despite all these efforts
nothing appears

soon we shall speak
soon we shall vote
to decide with authority
nothing of note.
