I've not seen it, but it would be nice permanent, eh? Your photo is lovely - it has a soft, yellow, earthy, nostalgic quality of light. It's interesting how well groomed the ferns have been kept :)
Hi Efi, the garden is permanent which is great, I think it needed work on the plumbing so was shut down for a few years (I thought it was to do with the drought, but apparently not), it was proposed by Hall when she was invited to work for another outdoor pace, the Sculpture Garden at NGA. I you are ever here and at the NGA it is a lovely place to stroll and sit (I visited it a lot in hot summers with small children.)
visited the Fiona Hall exhibition today and saw the Fern Garden — exquisite.
ReplyDeleteFavourite place, so glad it was renewed to coincide with the exhibition.
