    1. I think everyone is entitled to get whatever they get Lizz. Most of my poet friends know to read subtext, most of my FB friends not so much. I am often not sure if my point is clear in my poems (and I'm not sure it matters) but if you are interested my launching point for this was a face book memory (where it sends you a photo from the same day in a past year) Looking back at a post I had made on year ago felt simultaneously very recent and very distant and I thought the only way that could work is if time was folded like a concertina. Others thought it might be about breathing and my mother's last breath - which it well may be. Other friends have been sending me pictures of accordions or sharing the poem with their folk music friends!
