Efi Hatzimanolis #126 'Feeding the Fake Flowers Bananas' inspired by Barbara Temperton's 'Flowers'

Banana skins are
full of potassium, as
every gardener knows.

Plant food for
the glowing garden,
in his mind.

  1. Thank you, Efi! You know, I thought of many reasons for the banana skin being in the vase with the flowers, but I like yours best. :)

    1. Thanks, Barbara. I wasn't sure whether you'd already thought of it as your writing was so open which also gave it a lambent quality as if the altar were a garden in itself. I'm so glad you're writing these pieces. :)

  2. I love this. It has that slightly fairytale quality in the midst of fact which Barbara's pieces have too.

  3. Oh, and the self-portrait is wonderful! (But I am one of those rare persons who looks at the words before the pictures.)
