I had a dream about my then boss

or rather about a praying mantis

that looked like my boss

being tall and thin

staring at me through the windscreen

of my car

whilst I was driving

or at least sitting behind the wheel

like she would stare at me teaching

through the classroom windows

and would turn and walk away

when you asked what she wanted

and yet she tried to be positive

maybe did her best

with the voice of God in her head

telling her to watch over her flock

or guiding her to curb
