Each step touches earthly road
non objective dance mode
face-down while heaven watches
two steps forward
pose formed arms risen
elbows touch palms reach up
each breath an amending rhythm
pause realign lift down
falling full-length
thumbs-in fingers pressing
horizontal and every human bone
206 all line up caesura face down

unalloyed
distilled
cleansed
recompose
regenerate
step forward
ahead mountains spectacular
fresh grasses flowers on the roadside
distant trees clouds and nature viscerally
air abounds elemental and in-detail
tactile wet and matter
it doesn't matter
rise...
rise...

I like this very much indeed, Jeffree. Reminds me of 10 years ago on Putuoshan (link below) when I was marching like a soldier up the mountain to a temple and passing a small hardy group of elderly Japanese pilgrims prostrating themselves as they chanted a prayer at each set of steps leading up to it. Seeing this made me slow down and I became a bit more mindful of what I was doing there. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteThe lenghts some folk go to slow down is a bit mind blowing really.
