Skin
Kin is a surfactant spreads us further
unsticking mingling
running off the last meals
stuck in craws
removing stains
making sure
the fat
fat of the land
treasure of ages
keeps moving free
bonded by some congealed blob of suet
clogged
a clot for eternity
kin soaps us off the pan
down the drain to freedom
I find that pretty amusing, kin as surfactant! But it has a logic.

ReplyDeleteit sure is; fat is the most important and desired part of anything - it is the burning fuel, the taste spreader, fat is the thing.
