The Stationery Bus.
from
Anna Couani “habitats”
The stationery bus
was conceived to be a better version
of the bendy bus
until the bends got load-bearing
sudden folds took unexpected
advantage of passengers
their belongings
the dignity
modeling was sound
based on ancient principles
origami hybridised with economy
but mayhem
when it ensued
took down more than tendons and tote bags
the innocent fell
to the stationary bus
destinations bleached to
nothing more than faint scribble
as the argument over conception
raged on
that bus
on paper so successful
a paper wasp
stung a government to the ground
pretty cryptic
ReplyDeletealthough I am enjoying the stationery/stationary play ...
I guess a bus could be a kind of filing cabinet
and then it might be going nowhere
the way bureaucracy often does/n't
That is it, and I think it needs more, but after a big family weekend, it just came out...
ReplyDeleteso I'm thinking that the stationary bus is a habitat?
