Rob Schackne #38 - A Letter, Farewell, Hello

                               A Letter, Farewell, Hello

                                              Dear friend I have heard
life in the shape of animals

                                              It gives life everlasting
                                              till every slave beast dies

                                              Byways move masses
to each side of the fence

They say the real true road
                                              has no obvious destination

                                              Wind takes a face apart
                                              to give it another breath

                                              The kite sails high
to ride the last long string

(I don’t know how they do it)

                                              Somehow the show-off is
                                              demagnetized at the poles

                                              Positive and negative
                                              it's a planetary swing

                                              Tomorrow (time is a thing)
seems to come long after the day.

  3. yes, the kite especially (though 'kite' always reminds me of flying a kite with my late father when I was about three, the kite being 'lost' in a tree)
