I remember the first Mac I ever saw
with its ugly grey body and tiny screen
I remember floppies
and fantastic zip drives, so huge
250 MB’s in one disk, amazing
it’s only 30 years and now it’s
big gigs
and we sit at big displays
and small devices
on the bus
walking on the road
fondling tiny speakers
struggle to preserve the analogue
pull yourself away to do a drawing
move yourself away to speak
look in someone’s eyes
nearly drowning in paper
nearly drowning in paper
