The floor in our kitchen/family room in the home we built
almost thirty years ago is of slate imported from
China.
The colours range from grey to smoky black to pink and one of cream. There are
a few fossils embedded. This one is the most beautiful and makes washing it a
pleasure.
I should have added 'almost' as my last word.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing to have in your home. Very special.
ReplyDeletewe have similar vintage floors laid by the previous owners, but alas, no fern fossils. Lucky you. :)
