Linda Stevenson #3 August 3 Rain

Rain

I hold that my suffering
is phenomenal, unique;
that I have shaped it
by merely standing in the rain
and letting it fall,
precipitation
being a subtle thing.

Bring me your suffering,
unique, phenomenal.
The least I can do
is demonstrate
how to stand, holding it,
silent
in the rain.
