Barbara Temperton #1 - Copperplate
This is the door through
which he entered. The outside is white. The inside has a mural of a red-hulled
fishing boat on bright blue water under pale sky, with a cloudy patch hiding a
repair. On the patch – written in wobbly black capitals – is my youngest
brother’s name. I suspect my father has done this, because it is the door
through which Dad departed and has not returned.
Intriguing!
ReplyDeletereally interesting affect, Barbara. Nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rosemary and Efi. This is from a work in progress, a series. I'm experimenting with a form I haven't used before and I thought this might be the forum in which to do it. :)
