Barbara Temperton #1 - Copperplate

This is the door through which he entered. The outside is white. The inside has a mural of a red-hulled fishing boat on bright blue water under pale sky, with a cloudy patch hiding a repair. On the patch – written in wobbly black capitals – is my youngest brother’s name. I suspect my father has done this, because it is the door through which Dad departed and has not returned.

  2. Thank you, Rosemary and Efi. This is from a work in progress, a series. I'm experimenting with a form I haven't used before and I thought this might be the forum in which to do it. :)
