Sarah St Vincent Welch #161 Little duckies




thirteen little duckies
on the pontoon

one little ducky
jumped too soon

two little duckies
flew far away

three little duckies
knew not to play

four little duckies
dived down deep


three little duckies
are tender fox meat



Inspired by Rosemary Nissen-Wade and Lisa Brockwell to try the Eerie Nursery Rhymes challenge at 'imaginary garden with real toads' which calls for 'seemingly sweet lullaby-like poems which ooze ... creepiness.'
