a Northern Hemisphere monsoon
is hitting the Southern Hemisphere

unseasonally    has the earth turned
on its axis? that'd be a major global crisis

shifting climate patterns 180 degrees
we Southern poets could then write

of April showers in spring June bugs
on summer evenings our brains

would also have to turn there'd
be an economic boom of new

startups with innovation on the horizon
who knows what would happen

to the polar caps and all those ice cores
how could we return to cosmic order?
